“Badge Cafe does truly outstanding work in the Creative Health space.

It embodies the values of Creative Health: creative, playful, socially impactful, and deeply human. They make wellbeing feel achievable, memorable, and fun.”

Flora Faith Kelly, Creative Health Programme Manager for South East London Integrated Care Board

Our accessible, inclusive workshops (or ‘hangouts’) are great creative health activities for communities in London and nationwide, accessibly supporting mental wellbeing, preventive health, longterm conditions and connection across difference.

Our format is based on our founder’s peer-reviewed research into the benefits of participatory creative activity and is supported by robust impact evaluation data, including the benefits of longitudinal engagement.

Hangouts bridge team silos and support staff wellbeing across the organisation.

Our partners include Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London Arts and Health, Social Prescribing Conference and St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

“Badge Cafe does truly outstanding work in the Creative Health space.

Their approach supports staff wellbeing, engages communities, and offers a genuinely inclusive space for creativity. What stands out most is how accessible their sessions are — from NHS staff looking for a restorative break to local residents and communities who might not usually engage in arts activities.

It embodies the values of Creative Health: creative, playful, socially impactful, and deeply human. They make wellbeing feel achievable, memorable, and fun.”
