“Badge Cafe is unique. They bring a warm, open, encouraging environment that allows people to genuinely express themselves in ways that feel personal and authentic.

They create a space that is joyous, celebratory, naughty, provocative, arty and above all fun. I don’t think my programmes would feel complete without them.”

Sadie Lee, artist, curator and art educator, Wallace Collection, National Portrait Gallery, Frieze and others

Pop-up badgemaking offers accessible analogue creativity in an easy, welcoming, fun format.

Our workshops (or ‘hangouts’) work as standalone events or parts of bigger seasons or strategies – from museum and gallery lates to heritage and learning programmes – from music, film or summer festivals to fashion events with hands-on added value.

Hangouts can adapt to suit a range of audiences, themes and scales.

Our workshops also strengthen staff wellbeing and foster cross-organisational connections.

Our partners include Art Fund, Barbican, Battersea Arts Centre, BFI, British Academy, Central Saint Martins, London Museum, Rambert, Rich Mix, Roundhouse, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Saatchi Gallery, Soho Poly, Southbank Centre, studio1.1, University of the Arts London and Wallace Collection.
