Badge Cafe began life as an LGBTQ+ craft activity in London nightlife settings and remains a grassroots, queer-led organisation.

In LGBTQ+ settings, our workshops (or ‘hangouts’) enable different kinds of socialising, self-expression and connection across different identities, experiences and generations.

Our offer of hands-on engagement with specially sourced archival materials has strong appeal for younger people and during History Month (February) and Pride (June) events.

We can vary the format by theme, audience and size.

They are also great ways to support staff wellbeing and promote connections within and across different parts of an organisation.
